Are The Highest Paying Affiliate Network Programs The Most Reliable?

The great thing about the affiliate network programs is you can join any program you choose to.  The natural instinct would be to pick the programs that have the highest payout for commission rates, right?  Actually, going with the highest paying affiliate programs is not always the most reliable decision.

While you certainly want to take the payout into consideration, it is not what you want to make your sole decision off of.  Look at the professionalism of the company and the product you will be promoting.  If you believe the company has potential, chances are it is more reliable then a company that has a commission rate of 50%.

If you truly want to get an idea of what the program is like, try to contact someone that works higher up in the program.  A company should be more than willing to talk with you and answer any questions you may have.  They should not hide behind their high commission rate hoping you will be blinded by the numbers that will never occur.

A majority of the affiliate network programs on the internet do not charge to join.  But if you are looking at programs that have a start-up cost, look at the money-back guarantee.  A money-back guarantee is the most reliable thing you can get from a business.  It shows you they have confidence in their program and are willing to give you your money back if all fails.

There are too many programs to settle for the lowest paying program on the internet.  But at the same time, you should never settle for the highest paying affiliate network program because it is the company and the product that determines what kind of success you will have.
